Ben is absolutely the best.  We've been to several trainers over the years, no one has giving us better results.  We have been working two very different challenges with our two dogs - reactivity with one and training for obedience competitions with the other.  Ben has done a great job handling both.  He has an instinctive way of understanding and bonding with the dogs.  Just as important, he knows how to train their people. I brought my recently adopted 2-year-old German Shepherd to Ben for day training. My main goals were to help reduce her leash reactivity, build a foundation of basic obedience, and set her up for off-leash recall so I could comfortably take her into the foothills. After a few sessions, Ben laid all the foundations and taught me exactly what I needed to do at home to continue growing her skills. As a new dog owner, he took extra time to educate me on dog training and walked me through the anticipated next steps. Ben was kind and caring with my dog, which was demonstrated by her excitement to see him the next day. Ben with Momentum K9 did a wonderful job helping us train our dog Chloe. She is a rescue and had a lot of anxiety and fear of people. He was patient with both us and our dog, giving us so much help with her conditioning and training! She has become a much happier and confident pet! We highly recommend him! As first time pet owners we had to learn several things quicker to understand pet behaviors and how to train our pet. Ben boarded and trained our puppy for two weeks. She has wonderful experience during her boarding where she had the opportunity to travel and socialize. When she was back home we saw a lot of difference in the way she behaved, and that’s without using e-collar. She is now very well behaved puppy, responding to more commands and have calmed down. Ben also did post training sessions with us to help us learn the techniques. We highly recommend him if anyone is looking for K9 training in Boise. We are very happy about our experience with Ben. We had a great experience with Ben training our puppy. He was patient and made sure we worked on all issues we wanted to address. We used Momentum K9 for our 1 1/2 year old golden doodle Bowie.  Ben was great in training both us and our puppy.  The tools we learned on how better to train Bowie is priceless and has helped our dog with basic commands and fixing bad behaviors.  The key is to use K9 Momentum training even in between sessions and frequently.  We would highly recommend K9 Momentum for any dog training.
